I know how much you all love this exceptional boy we call Trey.  I can't believe how quickly the years have flown by...and WOW has he grown!  Here is a look at his past few Birthdays and some of the things that I can recall.  Treyden has always been a joy each & every year.  I look forward to celebrating many more Birthdays with him!!

Wow, I can't believe that my first born baby, first grandson on all sides of the family is a TEENAGER!!  I hope that he continues to be the great kid that he always has been and that he breaks me into this transition gently.  I fear that he is already smarter than me and darn near taller too!  Trey has high expectations of himself...honor roll, perfect attendance & punctuality, doing sit ups/push ups at home, advanced reading and much more.  So far his excessive hours on the XBOX have not interfered!  He is extremely sports minded although he finally admitted to thinking a girl (icarly) is cute.  I won't complain about him not being girl crazy unlike his lil bro Peyton!  Trey is a great example of a brother even if he uses his brain & brawn to manipulate his brother into doing various tasks for him.

Back To School 2011

It's that time of year again!  Back to school for my boys.  This is the first year that they will be attending different schools.  Which I think was harder on mommy then it was on them!  Trey started his first year of Jr. High as a 7th grader & is loving all of his classes, except for French!  Peyton is in 5th grade with Trey's old 6th grade teacher Mrs. Marquez & he is very excited to take on the violin.  I hope they both achieve great goals this year!! 

The Fall School Carnival is one of the boys favorites.  Trey was still able to enjoy it another year.  This bounce game is fun to watch!  Trey had an unfair advantage, obviously!!

La-La-Lagoon!!

-LAGOON 2011-

We had SO much fun at Lagoon this year!

I love that the boys are old enough to go on all of the adult rides.

We went to Lagoon with Jeremy the first time around. 

He hadn't been since his school days!

    WICKED is by far our favorite ride!! 

We always love Lagoon-a-Beach.  This year Peyton & I fell in love with the tube rides (maybe Trey will join us next year?!), we couldn't get up the stairs fast enough!  I think we need an entire day at the water park too!

We bounced back with my brother Tyler & his sweet family! 

Summer Lovin'

Nothing better than going swimming when it's HOT outside!  The boys had a blast this summer on pool days at Mimi's house.

BEE'S GAME

Peyton's Baseball team was able to take the field with the SLC Bee's.  They got to announce themselves & stand by the player who plays the same position.  Afterwards they went on a tour through the locker room.  What a fun experience for them!!

-JULY 4th 2011-
I love the years that I have my boys for The Fourth of July!! 

This year we had fun at Jeremy's parents house lighting our own fireworks...we had a truckload!!

The boys are starting to light them on there own, with mom nearby!  

The boys bought these parachuters & tanks with their own money.  So we lit them off beforehand.  Peyton's went sooo far [almost an entire block!] & ended up in a tree!

Sparklers are fun at ANY age!!

I had so much fun playing with my boys & acting like a kid.  They have lightsabers & we break them out at this time of year for a battle of independence!  ha ha They won for sure as you can see below.

My baby sister Ashley got married this summer to her Jr. High school sweetheart Cortlan Sherwood.   Their wedding was so beautiful & perfect.  Congratulations guys, we love you!

Baseball 2011

Baseball.
If the boys HAD to chose one sport I think this would be it.  They have both played since t-ball age and many times have been able to play on the same team.  It seems like every year we are hit with crazy wet, snow & lightening storm weather that the season often has a late start.  Which makes their spring fever even worse!  Watching them play baseball is my favorite past time.  =)

Peyton #29 Is our star pitcher.  He also likes to play 1st base & catcher.  He is even a sub on Trey's team when they need him!

Trey #9 is a great first baseman.  His mind is IN the game, every coaches dream player.

Trey's 6th Grade Promotion

 I can't believe that my handsome oldest son Treyden is officially graduated from elementary school.  How did this happen?!  I am happy for him to take the next steps in his life.  I have all the confidence in the world that he will succeed, he is extraordinary!

School Year 2010-2011

I can never believe how quickly time flies by.  It seems like just yesterday I got them ready for their first day of school & here we are at the end before I can hardly even blink!

2010 - Treyden - 6th Grade - Mrs. Marquez - 2011

This was Trey's final year in grade school.  I cannot believe that this day is here!  Very bittersweet for mom.  I am so proud of all that he has accomplished and his love for learning. 

2010 - Peyton - 4th Grade - Mr. Lingen - 2011

Peyton is a little sad that this is his last year going to school with his brother.  They truly are friends as they even play with each other during recess.  It will be good for them both!  Peyton is always complimented on his sharing & being kind to others.

I know how absolutely ridiculous it is that it has been 3 years since I last updated!  SAD!  Well I have a couple of friends (*cough*Steph*Kris*cough*) who are not willing to accept this sort of memory neglect.  ha ha So bare with me for a little bit longer.  I am organizing & deciding which highlights of the boys & my life cannot go unrecognized.  I will ALERT my family & friends when I have achieved blogging success.  Wish me luck!!

FOOTBALL 2010

- Football Season 2010 -

 Trey's team had a GREAT season.  They were one game away from the championship game, which was rough on all of them.    Fortunately we didn't have any major injuries!

 Trey's team chose to end the year with a team scrimmage!

 Peyton's end of the year banquet is always so much fun!   Yummy food &  slide show of all of their game clips.  It's great to hear all the boys cheer & laugh reliving the season.  I cry everytime!

Cabbages!!

Peyton's 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Wheeler's class were given cabbage starters at the end of the year.  We planted it & grew it all summer.  Look how BIG it got!  I think it weighed more than he did!  Good job Peyton!!  It was yummy too!!
